Ollier. Published, вышла со свежей титульной страницей с изъятием двадцати семи листов, как "Возмущение Ислама" / "The Revolt of Islam", Январь 10, 1818. ]

Порыв Осенний поднял рой семян

Крылатый над землёй. Затем морозы,

Метели, снег, весь дикий караван,

Ведёт Зиму с пещеры скифской грозной.

Взгляни! Роняя жемчуг с крыльев росных,

Весна вновь бег стремит над миром свой,

Холмы цветут и луг уж всходит розно,

И музыка звучит и лесом, и волной, –

Живым любовь шлёт, мёртвому покой.

Весна любви, надежды, доброты!

Крылатый символ, нет светлей, прекрасней,

Идёшь в слезах из зимней пустоты,

И солнце слёзы осушает страстно.

След нежный на устах твоих не гаснет,

Улыбки материнской. Вспоминая

Мать-осень, ты её могилу властно

Обрядишь, лёгкой поступью ступая,

Опавших листьев саван не сминая...

'The blasts of Autumn drive the winged seeds
